for various reasons.....
Such as:
#1 Who, except for myself, would / should care what I think, one way or the other.

#2 It inevitably leads to trouble.

#3 It has the potential to be a boring subject.

I decided to "TAKE A STAND" (in my own specal way) because I feel like the time is right for me to do just that.

Exactly my opinion too. I'm also impressed that you have generally avoided politics. Even though it looks like we agree, I can't think how many bands I don't listen to simply because every song of theirs was along the christianity sucks, america sucks, conservatives suck lines.

Meanwhile you sing one song and it doesn't disparage anyone else's ideas but simply supports your cause. Good stuff!

Hopefully, Mr. Obamma will live up to most of what he has promised. I think it's cool that we elected a man of color, but then again, if rascism is really dead / a moot point, then it really doesn't matter either way..... Right?
