Fair point, however, saying that they think they are gona get killed when they enlist is not right. Total american casualties so far are around 4,000 (KIA) if they knew they were gona die they wouldn't. They don't sign up to get killed, it is for entirely different reasons i can't list them there are far to many. Their job is risky but many of them love it, i would be tempted to even say most of them love it but ican't know that.

OK they don't choose where they get to go, I accept that, but why do they reenlist? This is a volunteer force after all. There is no mystery where you are going once you reenlist.

Oh ok and i suppose you think that soldiers get to choose which war they fight, soldiers cant quit when wars are announced they signed a contract they ahve to fight. Saying that is just stupid and ignorant.

You cannot choose your war maybe if you know a few soldiers you would understand that.

Soldiers are not complete idiots, they must know by now that Bush lied to them about this war from the very beginning. If they are still willing to sacrifice life and limbs for this guy let them go for it.
