I do think we need to stop using due to the recycling problem. I'm an environmentalist, so I've kind of put the environment first. One reason I buy farmed fish and corals for my tank.

It's no the pvc it's self that's toxic, it's the chemicals that are added to make it flexible that are. This is why PVC pipes are non toxic, but "rubber duckies" are.
