One of the killer products at the Consumer Electronics Show is Digital Foci's Picture Porter Elite. It's a hard drive-based portable digital media player for digital photos, videos, and music. So what you say? Everyone has something like that? What is really remarkable about the Picture Porter Elite is how it totally eliminates the need for a PC to copy content from something like your digital camera's CF or SD card onto its hard drive. TechWebTV's David Berlind gets the scoop from CES 2008 in Las Vegas.

if it was smaller and/or could take it's own pictures and had a considerably larger screen it would be worth it to the niche of photographers and/or amateur photographers who want a portable media player. If you have a digital camera with a TV out you can do pretty much the same thing; why spend more money? And, you can get a smaller PMP that can do everything else better.
