Normally the water level in the Kaministiquia River are quite low, except during spring runoff, because of a large hydro dam upstream. Recently a lot of rain in the area has raised the level to levels as high as anyone can remember. This is a brief clip of the river as it roars over Kakabeka Falls near Thunder Bay, ON.

  • This must be in the early spring, because the volume of water is incredible! I remember times during drought when there is all rock and barely a trickle of water going over.
