After years of experience in the Stained Glass and Tiffany-business, we made 3 information/instruction movies on DVD (Part 1: "Tiffany, How to?", Part 2: "Stained Glass" and part 3: "Stained Glass in Doubleglazing"), to show the hobbyglazier, how these techniques are done in a professional surrounding. The used techniques might be different, from what people perhaps are expecting.
The information given in the video's, show new possibilities and working-procedures with a lot of tips and tricks, to turn your hobby into succes. We 'll see how to cut glass, and for instance, we 'll see, how to cut out a 90 degree angle, with only the use of a glasscutter. In the Tiffany video, we 'll make a suncatcher, and we 'll see how to make and assemble a lampshade very easy, accurate and quickly, and how to calculate any diameter. And how to attach a cap to the shade and how to adjust, if the shade isn't hanging level. Soldered chainhooks on a suncatcher are a weak spot, we 'll show you how to do this in a better, more solid way, without soldering.
In the Stained Glass video, we 'll show how to make a stained glass window, this technique is also usable for stained glass doors and suncatchers etc. The drawing of patterns will be handled in the DVD, and we 'll see how to repair a broken window. All this and a lot more will be seen in our DVD's. Of course, there 's some practise involved, but all this is easy to learn.
Part 3 informs about stained glass in double glazing
