Yer man from about 3 mins sounds as if he went to the North to fight from Scotland.
Not all of the fighters in this conflict from Scotland were on the British side.
Many Scots descended from Irish immigrant stock fought, supported and still support a 32 county Irish Republic.

Very true. Patrick Magee ran his operations from Scotland. Unfortunately he was arrested with other ASU members in Glasgow.
