I would like to know how to chart a HIM department by level of responsibility ? Who oversee who?

You would have the HIM Director who answers to the CEO or CFO. Then you have the 3 mngrs: Coding mngr, ROI mngr & HIM mngr and then you may have leads in each one of those sections.

If there was an annual audit and the finding reveals that there are unauthorized use of credit cards and inaccurate billing and coding procedures and wrong procedure performed how would you address this problem and turn the poor performances around?
