Sherlock&John • Wil not back down (read desc.)

How could I resist vidding Sherlock/John after this amazing finale?
Unlike most fans, I don't ship them romantically. But there is definitely something there, something more than friendship. It's hard to define, but I'll try to explain it. I think Sherlock has never cared for someone as much as he does for John. Ever.
Sherlock does care about a few people, like Mrs Hudson, Molly and possibly Mycroft. But Watson is the one who found the secret way to his heart. It's funny how John says that Sherlock is the most human person he's ever met, because I truly believe that John made him more human.
Their friendship is a miracle because they seem so different. And that's exactly what makes the pair work: their differences. John thought that nothing ever happened to him. He needs the thrill and the adventure that Sherlock brings him. And Sherlock needs those little comments like "you're supposed apologize", "he is being ironic" to understand social life and become a better person.
Someone who doesn't know the characters probably won't understand how STRONG their bond is, just by watching this vid. Because they don't have huge PDAs. Their love shows in small things, like a subtle laughter and a few tears. Do you ever see Sherlock laugh when he's not with John? I mean a real, genuine laughter, not a god-you're-so-pathetic kind of laughter. That's why a seemingly unimportant detail like a smile is so powerful. It's rare.
It's amazing how much Sherlock has evolved since John entered his life. Before, the man would barely ever show concern/empathy for someone else, up to the point where people thought he was a dangerous psychopath. But in the finale, he was willing to risk his life to save his friend(s). I know he isn't actually dead but he did jump off a building. Even if he pulled a trick, I bet it would have been easier and less risky for him to just walk away.
And what about John? The guy never stopped believing in Sherlock. NEVER. All evidence pointed to Sherlock being a murderer. He even "admitted" it himself. As much as I hate to admit it, I'd probably have doubted him. But John didn't. Even after Sherlock's death, even when Mrs Hudson was convinced of his guilt, John's faith in his best friend was still intact.
That, my friends, is true love. :D

Love them as friends, soul-mates, whatever else they can be, their relationship is so deep... something words even explain. Excuse while I grab a boxful of tissues. You conveyed my feelings on the finale and their intense, platonic bromance or friendship wonderfully in this video and the vid description. Agree with you wholeheartedly.
