Question!! hi nice work. I got the corel 12. I want to start sketching a draw like u do at the beginning and I'm on digital water color brushes. I choose the broad water brush as u do, but is not the same shape. Yours is rounded and my is like a pill. And when I draw with a small size like 4, it makes little bars and is not an even brushstroke. Thanks for answer me, I really need to know cose without this I cant even start.

Could someone please answer me, ive been using photoshop cs3 for years but its just been brought to my attention that corel painter x is better than PS, is this true and if so why?. Everyone talks about photoshop being the industries leading art software so i go and learn it and now im hearing corel is better?, annoying man

@SamHain1031666 Both Photoshop and Corel each have their uses and are both great programs. Photoshop is more for creating graphics, web design, photo editing, and recently has acquired new brushes, but its main function is aimed at design and photography. Painter was created with one purpose in mind - to draw & paint, and it has a better brush engine which makes it the leader in using all sorts of artist brushes and does a superb job at mimicking real artist brush effects. Hope this helps!

@SamHain1031666 Painter 12 is the latest release, and I also recommend getting the Wacom Intuos 4 only if you need to upgrade your tablet too. Best of luck in your painitngs!

wow, awesome! Just trying to re-create your style and as a painter beginner i'm having some issues with blending the watercolors. They seem to remain hard edges and wont blend as smoothly as yours do. I'm sure im missing something simple here :)

@mazi07 Are you using the regular watercolors or the digital watercolors? Try the digital watercolors at the default setting. If you still have that issue, send me a message and some screenshots too. I'll see if I can help. :)
