Hidden in the backwoods of Angelholm Sweden, Koenigsegg is designing and manufacturing some of the rarest and most exotic vehicles on the planet. Headed by inventor and entrepreneur Christian von Koenigsegg, the car manufacturer is also developing leading engine and fuel technologies aimed at improving fuel economy and power output in all types of vehicles. In this video, J.F. Musial tours the factory on a former Swedish Airbase while taking a ride in an Agera R on foggy runway.

I understand that people say that mr Pagani is in the same league because he makes cars at the same league.. but then you check the engine and it has a massive GERMAN brand on it.. That is what matters on this subject.. Horacio is on his first car compared to Christian.. Hopefully someone will get through to Horacio so he gets involved in making it his own powerplant.. But for now: He ships his creation with a Mercedes engine!

Why not? I'm sure that any of their ideas that can be legally protected (patents and the like) are already being protected. As for the ones that can't be protected, a show like this can't even begin to describe them in sufficient detail, and other manufacturers can just buy an actual Koenigsegg and examine everything for themselves.

I love the Koenigsegg story. My favorite car maker, making my favorite cars.

Christian Von Koenigsegg is a very inspirational man and interestingly enough well spoken and surprisingly well versed in car technology "speak." Very admirable company and vision.

Just to simplify the tech advances with this car, remember the 5.0 mustang that produces 300 HP back in the day well here is a 5.0 the produces over 1000 plus HP.

Completely agree. The amount of hours of mechanical engineering behind this car couldn't be explained in 30 minutes let alone a 2-semester course at any high end university. Sure, there are some genuinely unique feats of engineering being showcased, but there's nothing that isn't really exposed.

The main reason that koenigsegg is my favorite car manufacturer, is that they not only make a fast car, but a spacious, luxurious, light, and compact car, filled with plenty of innovation and quality. They are safe, stylish, and even have hardtop convertibility. They also take environmental precautions with that biofuel.
