2011 OCLEEAA Competition OCSD Swat Demo

August 29th after the Police Explorer competition Orange County Sheriff Department SWAT team presented a simulated hostage situation felony stop.


1:42 the off screen instructor tells the explorers that the suspect states that he's going to kill his girlfriend and himself in 5 minutes.
2:03 an off screen instructor explains that hostage negotiators are still trying to convince the suspect to surrender
3:10 "Units stand by, sniper initiated."
3:14 (inaudible) 2 shots were fired from a sniping position, hitting the driver
The hill was actually hidden behind the two sheriffs you can see on the right of the screen
3:28 The SWAT team throws two flash bang grenades and approaches the vehicle
