ON DVD NOW! http://www.virgilfilmsent.com/store/product.php?pid=285 The Red Hand Gang were a group of five inner-city pre-teens who unwittingly found themselves foiling a jewel heist, a museum robbery and a child kidnap. The Red Hand Gang were so called because of their trademark red hand print which they left to mark where they had been. This classic 1970's American kids TV series was hugely popular in the USA during the late '70s and early '80s - and it still retains a cult following today. The Red Hand Gang comprised of Frankie (Matthew Laborteaux) and his brother Lil' Bill (Johnny Brogna), JR (JR Miller), tomboy Joanne (Jolie Newman), and brainy Doc (James Bond III) and they were quite often accompanied by their loyal dog, Boomer.
What a load of tripe.

It is a damn shame Jolie Newman who played Joanne, the tomboy has died in real life nearly ten years ago still we all die in the end and we cannot prevent it from happening to us.

OMG this was my very favorite show when I was a kid, when I still dreamed and was happy. The most wonderful years of my life when the innocence and wonder was part of my life.

Seeing this about little kids who solved crimes... I wonder if anyone tried, outside of "It's a Mystery...", to have cartoons in which Charlie Brown and his buds solved a crime?
