Man that was so sincere and pure. What happened to gospel music today? There are great singers out there but very few who do this. We need to go back and do our first works again.

I absolutely LOVE this...Oh My Goodness...Thank you for posting this.

Omg look at fred

Is that Fred Hammond?
-
@deenice681 I think Fred played bass for the Winans before founding Commissioned. I think they were probably very close, so I'm sure the Winans were an influence.
-
If Commisioned wasn't influenced by The Winans, how do you explain songs like Giving My Problems To You being similar to the Winans sound. Keith Staten is clearly trying to channel the vocal style of Marvin Winans on that song.
-
@MultiPrayers Keep your head to Heaven and stay focused on Jesus Christ. Blessings!

Congratulations to Commissioned on their upcoming honor for the 2011 BMI Trailblazer award along with Shirley Caesar.

Commisioned basically were Clark influenced but you can hear just as much Winans influence at the same time.
God bless you for holding on to this!

This concert was actually republished and put on DVD. You may be able to order online or find at one of the mom & pop gospel stores. It's called "THE LOST CONCERT" of the Winans.
