  • I still am unclear as to how you are able to switch patches on the eventide through the midi board. I am new to all of this, would you care to explain?

  • @michaelcarrig That's a great question. This is my old board and now I only have the TimeFactor on my new board (see other link on this page). Here's how THIS board's midi chain runs. MIDI OUT of the RST into the MIDI IN of the CAE PSS, then MIDI OUT of the PSS into the MIDI IN of a "MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru" box that is under one of the pedal lifters. The midi signal is then split & one MIDI OUT from the Quadra box goes to the TimeFactor & another MIDI OUT on the Quadra goes to the ModFactor.

  • AWESOME gear, dude! You've got great stuff, I love them all, but the JCM2000 is still my fav on it. This is my fav amp! Great choice! Keep on rocking! Let us hear all this blowing out loud!

  • @heliobluesrock Thanks. Yeah, the DSL100 and DSL50 are great. I put Mercury Magnetics transformers in both of them and they sound killer. I'm in the process of changing a few things on the board right now (getting rid of the ModFactor and volume pedal, and replacing them with a DLS RotoSIM, Boss Flanger and a modded Boss Tremolo) and will post a new clip soon with some sound clips.

  • damn, that's huge. how do you carry all of that to a gig?

  • @vincentcostales It's a pain, but worth all the back pain in the end. haha

  • @kgofswg Thank you so much, I may have questions for you in the future. I had to sell my old rig because of financial difficulties over the last couple years, and now get to rebuild in better times. All this midi stuff is so exciting.
