Some more semi obscure classic doom/traditional metal.

Sounds familiar? Yup, it's the same riffs that would later be used on Megadeth's hit album Rust in Peace (1990) in the self titled song.
It is believed that Dave Mustaine of Megadeth had a jam with these guys one day and came up with some riffs to this song. Two years later he used them with Megadeth though.

Lyrics:

See the Child Saint rising above the ground
Forget all the lies that you believe
The Modern Day Prophet is found

Hear Satan screaming
His power is fading fast
His hold on the Earth is over
His days are numbered at last

Chorus:
Feel the anger and the wrath
of the God you ignored
you will die by the sword
The forgiveness of the Child Saint
Adored in your eyes
No more lies

See the Child Saint rise
We're an image in the sinner's soul
Crying vengeance aloud

Hear Satan screaming
His reign is at an end
His mortal body is burned
His soul back to hell we will send

  • @guillotinedeath "The title track 'Rust in Peace' was written prior to my being in Metallica." (Mustaine, 1991)

  • @Mattowarrior777 Several members of child saint in several different mediums (including THIS FUCKING COMMENT SECTION using their ChildSaint youtube account) have corroborated that Dave Mustaine wrote this riff gave it to them in a jam session and then used it later for rust in peace. go find the proof yourself if you are that interested. And when was a tribute to diamond head.

  • Ok...i want proof, this is quite bizarre. But then again there were also demos of RIP back in 88, 89 I believe. Someone link to evidence Mustaine came up with said riffs first? He's pulled a Metallica on this one lol..(Stolen Hugh Tanner riff on Hit the Lights and a bunch of others stolen from other bands lol)..then again Mustaine "borrowed" the Am I Evil riffs on a song called "When"

  • @folkpunk123 you mean this single. Well you can always check out ForgottenSteel.de, but it's costs like hell

  • fucking awesome

    Mustaine God

  • Sick Shit I Just Came up on this record to day..hard to find

  • To bad Panic never released a demo, if they did I never can find it.
