Tight Hip Flexors can cause posture problems. This is because this group of muscles either starts at the lower back or pelvis.
If the hip flexors are tight they can compress the lumbar spine or change the tilt or rotation of the pelvis.
http://posture-exercises.blogspot.com has produced this video to illustrate a few ways to stretch these muscles.
For more information of posture and posture exercises make sure to visit their site.
Excellent educational and demonstrative clip.
Sound principles, easy to understand...well done!
Thanks!

thanks so much for doing this. its really useful. only one comment, i found it a little difficult to understand the last one, the video was a bit blurry for that one. drawing the navel in stablises by engaging the abs. the first stretch is for people with very tight hip flexors- like me! I think people forget that youtube contributors don't have to post at all, or necessary have a masters in media production. Constructive criticism can be written politely folks.

If I already knew how to stretch my hip flexors, why would I watch the goddamn video?! Think about it. The first time you learned this stretch, it was probably by watching someone else do it. So who's the dumbass?
