I am also not from Greece but i Married there in Parga the most beatifuull place in Greece and still happy and 2 childeren later now and we love,d the Sirtaki so much but this coopel did the Sirtaki so wonderfull graet.We liked it very much. And a 10 from Holland

@xicohtl: OK I was perusing YT for Greek dances and I just got to this video because it had sirtaki in its post. This is a European Ballroom Dance Contest and these are ballroom dancers representing Greece so where is the USA/American connection? It's an all European contest.

OK for all you purist, this absolutely not Hasapiko/Sirtaki dancing in its true sense. This is ballroom dancing with a tiny bit of Hasapiko/Sirtaki added for the Zorba/Greek music/dance routine. This was a ballroom competition with these dancers representing Greece. Give it a break. If anyone don't like it then go watch a real Hasapiko/Sirtaki dance. There's lots of them on YT. Better yet go watch a Zeibekiko, I like it better.

I am not from Greece, but I love this song. I hate those stupids that destroy songs that are part of the culture of a country. Some dancers in the USA like to americanize music from all over the world. That is just ridiculous.
