Stick vs stick or stick vs gun. I think the answer is clear in regards to excessive and fairness. As long as retreating in an option, no one was to die by tree branch. So far as I know, no one has been able to out run a bullet. The problem is the fact that the Anchorage popo really didn't care, didn't give a damn, then justified their behavior with some bad excuse that made no sense but to the folks that wanted to believe them.
