Our Phantom Showreel.. A mixture of shots using Phantom HD, V10 and V5.
Captured from 25 -1500 fps. Only a couple of shots have colour correction and the vibrant lettuce, peppers, chocolate and girl on the side are shot with the new stunning Rev-B sensor.

  • Why do people always use the dullest images that have been seen in a hundred commecrials before when puuting together a slow demo reel? (oooh water drops !) Although I guess it makes sense in this instance, as it seems that auditioning for commecrial work is exactly what they are doing.

  • @labotamysausagedog 2009 was 3 years ago.. when it was all new. What have you been doing for the past 3 years..?

"Auditioning" you should do some research before you comment.

  • All I have is twixtor. Wish I had a $100,000 to toss around for a camera.

  • @pstchaseki check my vimeo channel "SloMoments" and you can see Phantom HD plus Twixtor test..

  • i think you have to make a video of more interesting subjects, not liquids (no offence)

like maybe insects wings and stuff like that

or how a peacock opens his tail

    animals

  • @Raffaeledl Working on a new reel now.. Sorry... no peacocks.. or bugs..

  • @tonyprops Also, do you run a studio that makes commercials? If the answer is yes, then why are you telling me I need to do more research when I make a comment about you posting a demo reel to get commecrial work? If you aren't in the business of making commercials then I really dont know what the purpose of this video is or why it's full of slick but empty imagery that comes across as a slick, more modern version of some really basic commercials you would see in the 70's...peace out

  • @tonyprops Your demo reel might have been made in 2009 but, footage of things like slow motion water drops had been seen in a million commercials by that time and were/are as unoriginal as you can get. Now if you were just using predictable and expected images to show how well you can capture slick commercial ready images using this camera then that's perfectly fine. Just dont tell me those images are anything unique when I have seen them in dozens of commercials (years before 2009).

  • a drop of milk into water!
