  • love your video :)

verry sharp and grainless for super 8

how i would love to shoot some film too (i'm still saving up and using the time to plan what to shoot:) )

  • @SOEINEGAUDI Thank you! Hope you get to shoot some very soon. Let me know if I can be of any hekp!

  • great results with the 200 in daylight, not like the old Ektachrome 160 in daylight. I get the same responses when shooting Super 8. It is usually an older person or a really young person who knows what you are using. Most people my age(46) think Super 8 is a motel. Film rules and is fun. Get out and try it. There are better emulsions and cameras to be had now than there was in 1978 when I started.

  • @1931lugosi Definitely a wider range of choices than the 70's...in both reversal and negative. Thanks!!

  • 0:48 Whoops, I almost walked in front of your...hey...that's not a digital camera!!

  • @silverfish1 LOL, yes that's exactly the look and/or response I usually get. One guy was so intrigued that I struck up a conversation with him. I heard him commenting as I was shooting. He was saying to his girlfriend things like "what is that thing...looks amazing..is that film"?

  • Hello, you artist... I have a question for you, if you don't mind. I recently bought a Canon 814 E. If I were about to use those 200T or 500T films, there's something important that I should know? Do you film in automatic for those shots at daylight? And what about artificial light?

How Ektachrome 100D works at night or outdoors with that camera, by the way?

    Thank you!

  • I never tire of seeing homemovies shot on super 8 and 16.Thumbs up twice for including the Batmobile there in the car show.

  • Nice looking film again there : ) I've just been shooting some Kodak 100D film and it looks far grainer (and more jittery) than this... I'm just wondering if you've applied any stabilizing or de-noising in post or is this how it looks straight out of the camera ? Once again, thanks for sharing your tests & footage with us.

  • I love flim it looks so much better.

  • @airRail76 Thanks! I used a Canon 814 Auto Zoom Electronic for this test. I also did not use the daylight filter.
