@bombarderoazul do you know what will happen if you use a a-bomb in, lets say, 200miles altituted? ever heard of an EMP? not very clever! they banned a-bombs for a reason. and we can reach mars with todays technology, no need for a spaceship enterprice or something like that. if we want to explore, we should do it and we shouldn't listen to people who are telling us thats not possible untill we give them money and 20 years of time to delvope something. "the case for mars" is a really good book.

Never mind now. Its not going to happen since Florida is on the very edge of Bankruptcy. Since Nasa didn't pass the proper budget, the states credit rating will be lowered to junk bond, status i.e. Now way of ever funding this space craft, the good news is they'll find way to pay for welfare, section 8 apartment housing, food stamp, child care, trade school aid, college aid, prison housing and service ect ect 18+Million illegal aliens in their states, never going to mars until the year 2100

I wish we had something like the Orion spacecraft, we could reach 12% of the speed of light, however nukes are banned in space, so we are stuck with weak chemical rockets.
