@PIHfilmkes the steepness of the hills is the challenge. of course, one could say "i climbed fargo street without zigzagging" as an achievement, which would be greater than "i climbed fargo street by zigzagging".

why take this climb and then zig-zag? At least try to go straight or look for an easyer climb if you can't ...

Marion Street up here in Seattle is like that. Except I ride in the middle front gear. On wet slippery sidewalks.

I think I could make it straight up with a 26x32 gearing (1,79 m development ).
