The surfer paper airplne is trim so as to fly as straight as possible prior to being flown as a walkalong glider. Although planes may be trimmed in flight by positioning the controllable slope, any turning tendency will result in turns being easier in one direction and hard or impossible in the other direction.

    but outdoor ?

  • THis plane was flown outdoors, but even though it had some pitch stablility issues it flew for 43 seconds using controllable slope soaring.

  • it may need more washout (bend the trailing edge up at the tips) to prevent the stalling. nice design though
