@bisquik3006 When did I say that? Your strange little person.

@BoggleDongMongerFlog A Christian that is a practicing open homosexual? That's strange.

Im Christian, but some of the things this guy says do make sense. I've read the entire Bible twice. For me, it just makes this world make sense. The greatest thing it did for me, was answer the question to the meaning of life.

You may take an ancient book written by men who did not know science and believe it because you are told it is truth. Despite the book coming from men in an unenlightened age, full of superstition, fear and misunderstanding, you may believe it. Or you might, instead, consider the views of men who have the benefit of rational, time proven studies on the evolution of species and see in it some truth. A truth, unclouded by the threats of eternal damnation and pain. Just truth, plain and simple.

assumption, namely, that belief in God bothers me. I specifically wrote that being angry with people for being religious is like being angry with cancer patients for having cancer. I don't see where you get the idea that I'm angry.
"Blah" here means "etc." We all know what the Christian dogma is, so I shorten it. My point was that many religious people will claim their way of life is the better/only/one true way, which is arbitrary, subjective and contingent.
I do not know why you interpret my

@HardRokMiner Wow, that's a whole lotta words you put in my mouth there.
I said "stop acting so stupid", therefore I'm angry? No. That's not how this works. Pointing out the fact that you say contentful things that you know are false, does not make me angry. It makes me a little annoyed. The discution regarding my emotions is now over.
Well, my life improved strong after discarding religion, so there you go.
You ask me why it bothers me that someone believes in God. This is based on a false

@Pomme843 So my contention is there's something called spirituality which may not have anything to do with man made religion. BTW I am not a Christian either. To me spirituality is about orientation in life as a personal experience- (see secular spirituality) -open to new ideas "Where religion ends, spirituality begins" (See WIKI) I might say If you don't attempt self actualization there is not much point in getting oxygen.
@KingOfPsalm - You can proclaim J.C. with all your might, that is the beauty of faith [stubbornly hanging on to a belief in spite of all evidence against it]. But leave it at that: faith! (is not equal to truth) and please(!) keep it to yourself! Your patronizing, self-righteous tone is exactly what we are talking about! That is exactly why people are getting so fed up with you religious folks. N.B. This is my last reply to you (it is impossible to argue with blatant stupidity).

posts as angry as is possible. Perhaps you would like me to angry, so you can convert me to your particular lifestyle or form of spiritualism/religion, and thus feel better about yourself. Who knows.
Perhaps you find the "get over yourselves" insulting. Well, religious people insult atheists every day that passes, with religious laws, beheadings, coersion, denial of civil rights for minorities such as the LGBT community. Asking such people to get over oneself in but a small request.
