Here is an experiment: Kick an atheist in the crotch and while he isn't looking and tell him that nobody did it. Nothing did it, man! See how far that one goes....

What about: Paranthropus australopithecines, robustus, boisei, and aethiopicus; ardipithecus ramidus and kadabba; australopithecus anamensis, afarensis, bahrelghazali, africanus, and garhi; and Homo habilis, georgicus, floresiensis, erectus, and heidelbergensis; and Neanderthals.
Feel free to go look all of those up.

I will have to watch the Millar experiment before completely arguing this point. Because religious or not, I tend to think that something cannot come from nothing. Maybe Millar will prove me wrong.

What if God used evolution as a tool for creationism? Exp: Gen 1:24 says God created "beasts" the 5th day: "each according to its kind". For all I know that means on the 5th day He set a molecule into motion (domino effect) that would evolve into animals. I'm not saying this is the answer just a possibility. There is Hope. Check out the Gospel of Christ. The Biblegateway home page has many translations of the Bible.

Intelligent design? So...everything I believe is true EXCEPT, it didn't happen on it's own. A deity made it happen...yeah...
ID is just religion's attempt to admit that, hey, science isn't wrong, but still be right. I don't buy it.
About this 'hope' thing...I'm happy with my life without religion. Why do people need Jesus to be happy? Can't you be happy with the world without believing in something that isn't part of the world?
