  • just started Markdown after telling myself I'd learn this years ago. Wow after taking like an hour to play with it I'm mad I didn't switch along time ago.

    It is easy.

The only thing I do different is I write directly in TextMate. Good video

    Aloha

  • @docrock808 Yea, I did the same thing about taking too long to get into markdown. I'm also doing basically all my writing in Textmate now... But i'll use Scrivener to write the long stuff still. Cheers!

  • thanks great video!!

  • Wow! Thanks -- this is so cool!

  • Thanks man!!!

    Very good movie..

WOW this looks good i'm going after that Markdown language.

  • MarsEdit does it all in one. Enable XML-RPC and you can send the article straight to your blog direct out of MarsEdit.

  • Isn't there a single program solution to all this?

  • thank you for introducing me to markdown.

  • It's Scr-eeh-ve-ner. Like in Italy i.e **italicized**. Not Eye-tah-lee // eye-tah-lee-sai-zed. Just like in Iraq. It's Ee-raq.

Great vid tho. If only Scrivener didn't crush at the end. I'm using the same workflow for creating the hand-out curriculum for the college I'm teaching. There is a Markdown to HTML export option in Scrivener and therefore you can avoid importing text in Textmate.

Oh! And you can change the colours in Textmate so as to become more WriteRoom-ish.

  • It's Scrivener with a soft 'i'. Rhymes with give. Thanks for the vid.
