Krystal Teaches the Coffin Trick

This is a slow mo demonstration of exactly how to do the coffin. It shows multiple angles including extreme floor cam angle. There are a couple of techniques that if you master them, you can perform this cool roller skating trick yourself. Try the trick on the carpet first so you have the positioning down. When you do the actual trick make sure you have enough speed. It is a balancing trick so the slower you go the more difficult it is! BTW, in some circles this is called the pretzel.

ok lol i've worked and jamskated at the same rink for over 9 yrs nd cant do this ...then my little sister who happens to be 10 comes in and gets it on the first try while i ended up in the hospital trying lol all i can say is you have extreme talent nd all i can do is try again when i get off these stupid crutches ha! later ~Cody

Ok question for you Krystal, I can do it too, except I find it really hard to keep from going in really small circles. Got any tips for me to be able to go in a larger circle, or even just go straight while doing it?

It's a matter of balance. Extend your balance leg out further to avoid the small circles.
