top movie, i always wanted this movie made since about 6 years ago, then finally, a decent jesse james movie....i thought brad bitt oh shit, but ive got to congradulate him, he done a great job as did nick cave.......... R. I. P. JESSE JAMES

we were all able to confront the object of our childhood hero worship and find that he (or she) was far from grace how would this impact us? How could we reconcile that this figure once a god is now not only ordinary but lower than we ever could have imagined. At its core the film is a tale of one mans search for a prophet and the realization that the prophet is a fraud; thus Robert Ford became Judas.
