Thanks Colonel I think De La Mare recorded "The Listeners" on one of his 78rpm releases his late recordings on LP doesnt contain it.

@poetryreincarnations I think mine is "Nod" and a few of the shorter poems - i do have a lot of the Columbia Ediucational; recordings C 1928 so will look them out

Yes indeed.I hope you wil share some more poetry and spoken word from your collection I see you have a few recordings up at present The Ramsy Macdonald Burns is a real treat.I see you also VC Clinton Baddely I love his Jupiter records,but as a reader of poetry I thought he was pretty atrocious.
I would love to hear Walter De La Mare reading his poem "The Listeners" should you have it to share.

@poetryreincarnations Thanks - The trouble is the people who transfer these recordings take a lot of the "Atmosphere" away with the Crackles
