Wouxun KG-UV6D Review

This is a review of the Wouxun KG-UV6D from Wouxun. It is their newest version of the radio with 2.5Khz step and the new repeater button for quick repeater offset shifts. I got this radio from Ed @ Wouxun.us and had excellent service and very quick delivery.

Actually the price is of UV6D is twice of that price in my country. I don't know whether it has the real dual band function as 7r has. If UV6D has the function, I think it is the best primary ham hand-held radio. And from my experience of using UVD1P, I feel UVD1P alays lag for 0.5 or 1 second for receiving signal. So what about UV6D on this aspect?

If UV6D was capable of APRS link, that would be amazing. :)

@superarticulation UV6D still has that lag, but it's very short. I compare my VX7R and UV6D and it's maybe 40ms behind the VX7R. The VX7R is also $200 more.
