What will be our future after peak oil? How will our jobs, lives, and the overall economy be impacted?
In this 20 minute presentation, expert peak oil educator Tim Hudson defines the four futures after peak oil, and explains how to create a personal post peak oil profile by assigning probabilities to the four scenarios. Personal peak oil profiles are useful in both assessing one's own current expectations for the future as well as better understanding the beliefs and expectations of others.
Tim Hudson created this talk drawing from many sources including peak oil books written by Richard Heinberg. This talk was recorded in high definition at the Conference on Michigan's Future: Energy, Economy and Environment, held at Crystal Mountain Resort over the weekend of November 15, 2008.

part i
One of the better presentations I've seen..and very glad he mentioned Geography as I was going to post about that, to point out that there is no "This or that future for ALL OF US" but rather a different answer depending on where you live..

But I would take it a step further: even in the same geographical part of the world, the situation will depend on not only sub-geographies (sub-regions in which fossil resources and dlimate destabilization effects are different) but also *economically* different situations: poor or rich or in between, in short. And if we ignore that, we'll not only be acting immorally if we ignore the effects on the poorest, but also, we'll "pay" if we let billions starve, live in misery
