Initiative - More Information for Cuba (For the Popular Uprising in Cuba)

One of the many problems in Cuba is the access to INFORMATION, the average Cuban citizen only has access to information through one source, the official one.

A few Cubans in a secretive form or through semi-clandestine ways, and even a few of the government officials, receive free information without filtering or censorship.

-INTERNET (3% of the Cuban population)
-SATELLITE (It's illegal and prosecuted by the police)
-USB MASS STORAGE DEVICES, CDS, DVDS, MOBILES (These don't exist for the average person and it's not substained by the regime)
-RADIO STATIONS LIKE « RADIO MARTI » (Blocked by the regime)

Our proposition has 3 alternatives to allow information to get in the island.

-SNAIL MAIL FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTRY.
-SMS THROUGH MOBILE PHONES.
-PHONE CALLS TO LAND LINES AND MOBILES.

How do we obtain the numbers, addresses, etc, of the people to whom we will send information?... It's very simple.

You have to visit these two internet pages:

http://www.pamarillas.cu/paginas/p_blanca.aspx (THESE PAGES CONTAIN DATA BASED ON ETECSA CLIENTS WITH A LAND LINE)

http://www.elbilly.co.cc/directorio_movil_cuba/busca.php (THESE PAGES CONTAIN DATA BASED MOBILE PHONES)

In order to have access to the numbers in those pages, you can use this tutorial video as guide:

Once you have all the numbers that you have acquired through a premeditated or random search, you need to use one of the 3 alternatives aforementioned in the following way:

-SNAIL MAIL FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTRY: It's important not to raise any suspicion amongst the postal service staff, therefore the letter needs to be simple and not drawing attention to itself, it should only consist of one sheet of paper printed on both sides so it doesn't come across as being too thick, with information pertaining Cuba or the rest of the world, containing information about the opposition inside the island, the internal dissidents, violations of the human rights that take place all over the island, etc, etc. In summary, every single piece of news that the official press in Cuba hides, manipulates or just never brings out to the light of day.

-SMS THROUGH MOBILE PHONES: Through this way the news sent must be more concise given the data space allowed by cell phones. For example, an act of repudiation in a specific place, a protest of dissidents, a murder in plain sight in a central park to the hands of the police.

-PHONE CALLS TO LAND LINES AND MOBILES: Basically this case also has that sense of "urgency" as a result of the possibility of the person on the other side of the phone hanging up due to the fear instilled in every Cuban citizen, therefore we need to be fast and to the point.

IT'S IMPORTANT: to limit ourselves to only give information, avoid slogans, avoid political propaganda, it's about trying to get information and more information inside the island, to allow every Cuban to come to their own conclusions in the same way those who live in freedom can.

PASS THIS DOCUMENT TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS AND LET'S MAKE OF CUBA AN INFORMED COUNTRY.

IT'S UP TO YOU!
