@Brad3374 No, that's not what he was saying. GentlemanRackstraw was saying that the judge stating that someone can skateboard at only 3 mph is wrong. I also think it's wrong. Normal walking speed is about 3 mph and according to various websites skateboarding on flat ground is 10-20 mph.

@GentlemanRackStraw It pans out. If the girl left her home at 1pm, she would have only traveled 3 miles by the time the theft occurred at 2. The lady lives FOUR miles from the girl. Thus, in order for the theft to have been committed by the girl, it would have had to happen at 2:30.

This never did quite pan out.
After all, 3 MPH is pedestrian speed. A skateboarder has a chance at making an eight-mile round trip in two hours! Case revisited!
