In an effort to explicitly depict the current financial dilemmas facing homeowners Congresswoman Maxine Waters attempts to contact banks and or lenders on behalf of her constituents in her districts. This short video is a clear example of how frustrating, difficult, and time consuming it can be for homeowners to attempt a loan modification on their own.

What's so ironic, that Congresswoman Waters never even gets to the point of being able to ask for a mortgage modification. Instead she just deals with the bureaucracy of getting to the right person.

In fact, this video was first aired a while back, the problem with banks and lenders has further been exacerbated. Hold times for with financial institutions have more than quadrupled.
