Five fatal stabbings took place in Edmonton, north London, from January to mid-March 2008, four of them teenagers, earning the area the nickname "Shanktown.

Edmonton Green is a testament to the utter failure of socialism. Mass, uncontrolled immigration, high crime, social and economic dilapidation, 1960s brutalist architecture, single parent families, fake marriages, social housing and failure of the social state to install work ethic.
