A small history about a very long country.
Photo video about Chile,the personal look someone who grew up and lived under Pinochet dictatorship. I made this video and showed it to all my classmates at the English class.

On September 11, 1973, Pinochet, who had recently been appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Army, led a coup d'état against Socialist President Salvador Allende and, along with the Navy, Air Force and Carabineros, established a military government. Pinochet implemented a series of military operations in which approximately 3,000 people were killed, while 27,000 were incarcerated without trials and subjected to torture. Thousands more fled in exile, in particular to Argentina, as well as Peru and applied as political refugees; however, they were followed in their exile by the DINA secret police, in the frame of Operation Condor which linked South American dictatorships together against political opponents.
Pinochet was a well-known human rights violator and violent dictator.

Chile has a dynamic market-oriented economy characterized by a high level of foreign trade. During the early 1990s, Chile's reputation as a role model for economic reform was strengthened when the democratic government of Patricio Aylwin - which took over from the military in 1990.
In 2006, Chile became the country with the highest nominal GDP per capita in Latin America. Even though the exceptional Chilean economic results, when measured exclusively by the GNP indicators the Chilean economy income distribution has been extremely poor.

The Global Competitiveness Report for 2007-2008 ranks Chile as being the 26th most competitive country.

Verónica Michelle Bachelet Jeria born September 29, 1951 is a center-left politician and the current President of Chile—the first woman to hold this position in the country's history.

Bachelet—a surgeon, pediatrician and epidemiologist with studies in military strategy—served as Health Minister and Defense Minister under President Ricardo Lagos. She is a separated mother of three and a self-described agnostic. A polyglot, she speaks Spanish, English, German, Portuguese and French. In 2007, Forbes magazine ranked her as 27th in the list of the 100 most powerful women in the world.

Según veo,todos son menores (20,23 ) Esto indica que no hablan basados en experiencia sino basado en información, adquirida o heredada por el medio que los rodea. En los hecho, Pinochet fue un dictador, asesino gente por pensar distinto, acabo como ladrón y apelo a su locura senil para evadir los juicios en su contra.

@MrCebasthian Valida tu critica, pero pienso que esa unión de la que hablas no existe en Chile, nuestro país sigue siendo un país radicalizado, un lugar donde la justicia aun no alcanza para todos. La imagen de Chile en exterior esta medida solo por los logros macro económicos. No así por avances en justicia social y transparencia política. Gracias por tu post .

el clima de osorno es frio porque esta al sur de chile, asi que es muy parecido al de canada.
