The State of California is talking about closing state parks because they cannot cover their own costs and are essentially bankrupt. All last year, California was printing IOUs.
In any case, the citizens of Benicia are rightly up in arms about the situation, because we have the oldest surviving former California state capitol building, among other treasures. I think we should take over these parks at a local level, because Sacramento can't run them effectively.
