A lot of hip hop in Japan gets passed down by pros I think. Since it's hard to make a living as a dancer wherever you go in the beginning probably a lot of American dancers went to teach in Japan, but now there's all kinds of schools taught by Japanese ppl too. It's pretty crazy, Japan's really into old school styles.

I was at the Sophia Festival this year too. I sat pretty close on the 2nd day of the festival! It totally rocked! They are perfect dancers, you can tell how much they practice.
