  • @PaulMietelka Not a money problem. its called Investmenting. Already got a $7,000 offer on my car and its not even finished being put back together after being shot with primer, considering the interior needs reupholstered pretty bad, proves your theory quite incorrect.

  • @50desoto1 even cheaper on ebay sounds like you have a money problem if your worried about what its worth money wise but go ahead keep building your dream i hope you make a killing

  • @PaulMietelka Yup. everyone bases thier collector cars value off of Craigslist. Go to Desoto.org and read a little bit, and maybe we can continue this. Know about the car your butchering before you try to tell me what they can rake in.

  • @50desoto1 actually the wheels fit perfect no rub nothing on the stock suspension i wont argue with you on what i plan to do with my car but i assure you if the air ride was taken off there would be no evidence of modification but i also dont plan to sell it so good luck with your restore last desoto i saw on craigslist completly original was going for 3500

  • @PaulMietelka Its a 1950's era car. The brakes cant handle the rolling mass, there is no clearance, so you have to lift it, If you want to ruin a car, do it with a 70's car or 80's when everyone stopped caring. I have not seen any Desotos go across the Barrett Jackson block with 20" rims. Nobody would buy that. Look at what the stock desotos sell for. a bone stock 1950 Desoto Deluxe sold there for $50,000. You wont get any collector to pay more than $5,000 for a molested Desoto.

  • @50desoto1 im definately not ruining this car simply putting air ride on it no modifying that cant be turned back to stock check out my vid the only change that will not be original is the master cylinder i'll keep the pedal the same but safety is my concern with that

  • Plus I would like to add your car either has a Simplimatic Fluid Drive, or the M6 transmission. The M6 is the better of the two. If you want to know more about your desoto, go to Desoto.org and join all of us in the fun of Desoto ownership!

  • @PaulMietelka Why would you ruin a good car with that stupidity?

Im spending a lot of time turning my 1950 Desoto Custom BACK from some know-nothing ding dong who tried to rat rod it. Its a Desoto. Not a "donk" or "lowrider". These things are worth a TON more money when they are stock.

Ill see you guys on Desoto.org!

  • i just bought one to restore / customize your car is in awesome shape im going to put air ride and drop it on 20s but the only thing im missing for the whole car is the front grill

  • THANKS- ROLL UP THE WINDOWS NEXT SO WE CAN HEAR!
