Netaji was the reason why brits left India not Gandhi. Clement Attlee, the British Prime Minister during whose rule India became independent,mentioned that INA activities of Netaji Subhas ChandraBose (which weakened the Indian Army -- the very foundation of the British Empire in India) and the Royal Indian Navy mutinyin1946 were major reasons that made the British realise that they were no longer in a position to rule India.

Dont compare netaji with gandhi yaar..its an insult for netaji..Gandhi fattu tha and power greedy..and with congress due to that loyalty towards british they left india handing over power to congress.so congress made him father of nation and created big hype, printed currency on his name..bcoz of his power hunger people are suffering till now..as bhagat singh said congress will do anything for power, even if we get independence situation will be same in place of british our own people will rule.
