Blythburgh Free Range Pork is a family business situated on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Website: http://www.freerangepork.co.uk. Blythburgh Free Range pigs are totally free range and this film explains the benefits. We hear from the award-winning pig farmers -- Jimmy Butler, Alastair Butler and Stuart Butler -- who are passionate about free range farming, the highest standards of animal welfare and the production of best quality pork. We learn about the excellent qualities of the meat from wholesaler, Charlie Mills, and family butcher, John Palmer of C. A. Palmer and Son Ltd. Finally, we hear from David Grimwood, chef and owner at The Froize Inn, who gives tips on cooking roast pork, especially the perfect crackling. Everyone involved in the process, from farm to plate, agrees that the combination of the natural, slow way the Blythburgh pigs grow and their outdoor lifestyle is what makes Blythburgh Free Range Pork so succulent and tasty -- and with a traditional flavour.

how many sows are in production and what is your p/s/y? i have ran a free range farm in the states on a very large scale-18,000 breeding females @its largest in 2001. i am curious about your choice of individual farrowing paddoks choice. i know a more economical setup that work well and could be implemented with the huts and facilities i see in your video. i also weaned at 4wk minimum and finished on outdooor lots.....
