I made these with pvc and standard pipe. The pvc spins on the pipe. Both versions were made with 1" pipe handles. 3/4 inch pipe was used for the area that holds weight. The outer pvc is 1 1/4, 1 1/2 and 2 inch. To use the 2 inch I recommend putting the 1 1/2 on the inside of it, so there is less space between the pipe and the pvc. The size of the handle area can be varied according to your hand size. I used 4 1/2 inches on the on and 10 on the other. The one piece handle uses floor flanges to hold the pvc on. The other uses end caps. To see the original in action, go to:http://www.dieselcrew.com/napalms-nightmare-grip-training-device/

  • I've gone to a 10" 1" pipe and slightly smaller pvc on the version on the right. I am extremely happy with it. This device really works the grip and quickly.

  • Aptdwler's exact location is shrouded in mystery, however, with a little detective work, one could probably figure it out....Thanks for the comments.

  • Hey man, I'm a huge fan of your home fitness equipment website fighttraining, I lift weights too and I build/weld stuff out of steel. Where do you live lol, just curious. I'm in Washington State Olympia.
