Hi, I'm Rob and this is the two year anniversary of Pirate Lifestyle TV.

In this video, I am sharing the changes coming, thanks to your feedback.
I created Pirate Lifestyle TV on January 14, 2010, and over the past two years I have received lots of advice on how to improve my videos, and I will be incorporating a lot of your thoughts and ideas in my videos.

Some of you find my loud "Arrrrr's" in my opening annoying, so, like in this video, I won't be doing them anymore.

Many of you have posted comments about my "Mr. Rogers" style of talking. And you find it condescending. You feel I am treating you as babies, and that I come across as I'm smart and you're not. Well no more.

And no, I do not have a hand party every night.

The Hawaiian shirt is gone. I am wearing a tee shirt now.

I promise no more laughing. No more, "be havin' fun" shout outs. And no more silliness, meaning no more pirate English.

You know, when I started doing this, my goal was to share a bit of our life. We live on this sailboat and I thought you might find our story interesting.

Life is short and too many people spend the best years of their life working and unhappy. Dreaming of the day they can retire and enjoy life.

I hoped, correction, I hope that by sharing our life with you, it would show you that anyone can enjoy life today. If what you are doing right now isn't making you happy it is time to do something different.

So, anyway...

Capt Rob,

Found your videos last night. Ran across this one tonight. Mean people suck. I agree with lhotka1. I can see cutting the intro down a little and tweeking a little bit, but don't get to straight. Unless Youtube pays you to wear the T..... For what it's worth, I liked the ol' Cap'n Rob better. Someone once said, “If it’s not a hole in the boat, don’t worry about it.”
