Gina is a very friendly 2-3 year-old Border Collie/Lab mix female who was dumped at a wildlife santuary in Kentucky last fall. The santuary vet and staff took great care of her but wanted to see her have a chance at a normal life with a loving family so she came to Canine Lifeline. Gina is super-affectionate with people and would love someone who can spend lots of time with her and shower her with affection. She's perfect with other dogs both large and small so would make a great companion dog. She may need a little remedial work on housetraining but should respond well if her new family works with her on crate-training. She's certainly eager to please and craves affection. Gina is a little chubby from her days at the santuary so a home where she can get more exercise and walks would be perfect for her. She's spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on Frontline Plus flea and tick preventative. She also comes with a microchip that can be transferred to her new family. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it's a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email Barb at bwible@roadrunner.com if you're interested in Gina.
