Israeli born performance artist Noa Baum (www.noabaum.com) began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in the U.S. Her performance weaves together their memories and the stories of their mothers to create a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike. This is part of a program produced by Marylanders for a Free Palestine and Secure Israel.

  • u rude shit... ps. im an arab.

  • this is a touching, beautiful story

  • Many of my classmates and I attended a conference and saw her performance just a month ago. It was nothing short of amazing. I'm surprised there aren't more Noa Baum related videos on Youtube.

  • I've seen Noa perform "A Land Twice Promised" three times. It is more moving each time I see it. You can buy a DVD of her presentation from her web site at: noa baum dot com index.php?page=a-land-twice-promised---dvd

But I recommend checking her schedule and trying to see her in person. She is a woman I love and admire and a world class actress and storyteller who deserves the world wide acclaim she is getting.
