It's Tough: A Jonas Sister Story

Candie's POV
UGH! Another day...Sure I am a "Jonas Sister" as they all call me, but its not everything it seems to be. My twin sister, Lexi, and I are the Jonas sisters. That's what the fans call us. Don't get me wrong, my brothers are wonderful, but I wish I could be my own person. I wish I could have the name Candace Jonas and not be wrestled to the ground by fans who only care about me because I live with their idols. My sister, though, feels differently.

Lexis POV
Hey there!! Yup its me! Lexi Jonas, Jonas Sister. Man do i love that title! It makes me feel so special. I love being related to my brothers. I make money and I dont even do anything. I'm just related to them. That's just the way I roll. Sure, sometimes I wish I could be my own person and be able to go out without security, but the rush of fame always puts me back on focus. How could Candie not like this?
"Candie! Get up!" I screamed, trying to wake her up. She was a heavy sleeper. "CANDIE!!! WAKE UP!"
"Uhhhh!! Five more minutes!!" Candie demanded.
"NO! We have to get to the venue!" I exclaimed.

Candie and I were both well known singers. We both had our identities. I am Selena Gomez, and she is Demi Lovato. We did this so we could play our music knowing that our fans liked us for us. We liked it that way.

"VENUE!! WHAT WE HAVE A SHOW TODAY?" Candie screeched, rolling out of her bed onto the floor.
"Yeah." I said. "We're preforming with Joe, Nick and Kevin!"
"Oh! I gotta get ready!" she said, flustered.
"Well me too!" I said. I was already begining to feel the adrenaline rushing through my body.

We both got ready and got in the bus. The boys were already sitting on it waiting for us.
"What took you so long? We have a soundcheck to make it to!" Nick complained. He could not stand to be late.
"Well sorry we wanted to look perfect!" Candie retorted. She seemed a little grouchy this morning, but so did Nick. They both have Type One Diabetes just like me, but today my blood sugar was normal unlike their's.
"Candie chill. Did you take all your medicine this morning?" Kevin questioned.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Candie asked, sounding hurt. "Are you implying that I have too many health problems?"
"No, it's just-" Kevin was interrupted my me.
"He just wanted to make sure you didn't pass out on stage. Right Kev?"
"N-" I hit him. "I mean yeah of course!! Always thinking about you Candie" he said.
"Oh alright then!" Candie said, sitting down in the bus kitchen with a box of cereal.

We drove for a bit and finally arrived at the venue we were going to. We set up on stage and the boys did their soundcheck first. Me and Candie needed to get all ready. We both took all of our meds and did some vocal warm-ups. It was finaly my turn to soundcheck. Candie sat backstage until it was her turn to come up with me. Together we sang our favorite song "One in the Same". We loved singing that duet in concert. It was perfect. I then proceded offstage and Candie did her Demi set. In the middle of the set she started gaining a really pale complexion. I was starting to get worried, and so was everyone else. She passed out a lot because of her health problems, so I didn't ever want her to push herself too hard on a bad day. Today was a bad day.

"Candie! Get off the stage and rest!" Mom shouted at her.
"CANDIE PLEASE!!" I pleaded. I did not want her to pass out on stage, but she kept on preforming her soundcheck set. She was not gunna give up.
"AND THE LA-LA LAND MACHINE!!!" she ended the song and wobbled off the stage. Once she got backstage, she collapsed on the couch. She wasn't unconsious, but she was close. Nick rushed into her dressing room and got all her medicines. He didn't know which one she needed.
"Candie, Candie. Can you here me?" Joe asked, making sure Candie was staying alert.
"Y-yeah" she choked out.
"I have the meds!" Nick screamed, running to us around the corner of the hall.
"You brought ALL of them!" I exclaimed.
"Well...yeah. I wasn't sure what was wrong," Nick said, out of breath.
"Candie, which one do you need?" I asked, observing her medicines. I got no response. "Candie?" I asked again. Still no response. I turned around only to find Candie unconsious.

Is Candie alright?
Will the show go on?
