  • It would appear that most of these recruits are not prior military.

  • you are correct / these are mostly recent college grads

  • are these actually marines? i noticed at a flash it looked like one had 3 ribbons (what did he make nco/staff nco w/o bieng deployed?) but i like the idea of harder training for aspiring police officers

  • Yes - From Camp Pendelton

  • Officers trained by U.S. Marine's? I'm a Marine Vet. unless I'm going nuts the instructors are Marine S/Sgt's. And the black duty belts of Sr. D.I.'s.

  • We were allowed to use Marine DI's for the hell week portion of their training

  • ohh god this video is making me afraid from joining police !!

  • Dear God..the recruit at 4:35 has NO hustle what so ever! I can understand out of shape but that's pathedic

  • I don't know why these recuirts are addressing a non-comissioned officer as sir.

  • @KLW007 that was hell week? well, i guess if they have never went through any other training to compare that too I can understand, I'll tell you now these DI's were going easy on these recruits. If these guys could only see how these DI's work in the marine corps training requirements they would be SO GREATFUL haha.

  • nasty ass recruits. they should consider themselves extremely fortunate to have Marine Drill Instructors kicking their butt. The more you sweat in training the less you will bleed in combat/action.

    SIMPER FI

  • at my police academy the drill and deportment officers are ex Marines. this academy is ran similar to the one i am attending.

  • They used a Marine Drill Sgt. to train them? I thought the drill sgt was a police drill instructor.

  • cool...turn em into mean little facists...them turn em on us...

  • @KLW007 Interesting. It's been my experience that prior military moving to LE tend to be able to hit the ground running just a little more than their civilian counterparts.
