@EK11221122 and u obviously got it all confused... ur view on pop rap is nothing compared to what it actually is... u might as well say some of Biggie's hits is pop rap as well.. i peeped ur favs list and all u listent to boom bap.. i love boom bap but the boom bap shit u like is garbage specially that Third Degree song its horrible.. not all hip-hop relies on the boom bap sound.. expand ur taste in what hip-hop is cause u got no real taste..

@EK11221122 Hip-Hop isnt just all about poetry..its an expression of one's self aswell.. u obviously dont know much about Dilla if u didnt know that he spent much of his time as stripper bars.. and if u knew who MED was u'd know he can get lyrical.. u prolly get no bitches if ur against a song like this.. since when do Kids listen to this type of music by the way? there's to much content in this song.. last i check pop music has catchy hooks to it... i didnt hear a single hook to this song..

@MoodMuzikFilez "all im hearing is a club song thats sounds pretty street to me" Exactly.... Lots of polished pop-synths sounds that go along nicely with shallow and ignorant lyrics, delivered with a shameless indifference. This is really nothing but a cashtrack. Put it together, shoot some hot bimbos in a club and watch kids buy it. Clever, but also very transparent. This isnt hip hop, its plain pop music. Has nothing to do with street poetry or anything else that remotely resembles hiphop.

@EK11221122 can u give me the difinition of a pop-rap song please.. cause i thought pop-rap appeals to what most poeple listen to? which is on the radio... and this sounds nothing like it... all im hearing is a club song thats sounds pretty street to me....
-
@MoodMuzikFilez No idea what radio channels you listen to, but yeah...this is def pop. Any head, real mc, producer or hip hop connaisseur could tell you that in a heartbeat. Dont get all offended and call people names, just because they tell you you are listening to pop music? Its ok, just dont go around thinking its hip hop thats all I was saying. Gives the real genre a bad name :P I love Dilla, dont get me wrong. Hes done a helluva lot of good for the music, thats prob why I even commented.

@EK11221122 your a dumbass... this is no where near pop rap... does this sound like anything u hear on the radio? id pray to hear somethin like this on the radio instead of that wack ass shit thats unoriginal...

Mad respect to Dilla, but seriously.... This is nothing but commercial pop rap with some hollow bullshit lyrics thrown in. Sad to see really, and a blow to real hiphop.
If u pause the video on 2:26 u will get the album cover of J Dilla's "Donuts"!!! R.I.P J Dilla!1
