On October 28, 2011, the Basement Club performed Beck's Odelay as part of a special "one night only" Halloween event. My camera's SD card ran out of memory shortly before the song's conclusion; this can be attributed to the extended outro and band introductions.
Event info: "The Basement Club was started to gather local musicians to perform one show covering a classic album. This is done every Halloween as the album serves as their costume. Last year featured the David Bowie 1972 concept album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. This year moves them in a completely different direction, celebrating the 15 year anniversary of BECK'S ODELAY.
A complete change of pace, The Basement Club takes on the challenge of the sample driven, rock, country, hip hop, funk, soul album. It's a lot of genres but it is a lot less words than the Ziggy title. The line-up gets rearranged every year, featuring some returning members and some new:
SEAN TRESS (Pictora) -- vocals, guitar
MATT CELIO (November Loop) -- bass
NICK ROSSI (The Kelly's) -- guitar
IAN JAMES (Braille) -- drums
DAVE KNOWLDEN (Realtime Digimob) -- sax, guitar
NICK CELIO (non-union, freelance musician) -- keys, guitar"
